1. Organizer and implementer of the International Tea Festival – WORLD T.E.A FEST 2025, with the most diverse series of cultural, economic and diplomatic tea activities
The International Tea Festival – WORLD T.E.A FEST 2025 runs from 11 November to 7 December 2025, with the main events from 5 to 7 December 2025, featuring many highlight activities that paint a comprehensive picture of tea culture and the tea economy and bring together key events of a highly international character. The festival aims to honor Vietnam's tea heritage and preserve traditional cultivation techniques and the ancient art of tea enjoyment, while introducing the distinctive features of Vietnamese tea culture to the world, connecting global cultures through tea and turning tea into a common language of peace, cooperation and sustainable development.

The International Tea Festival 2025 – WORLD T.E.A FEST 2025 drew special attention at home and abroad through activities rich in cultural, economic and artistic elements steeped in national identity.

2. The first synchronized tea-brewing and tea-offering art performance in Vietnam in the “Viet Tra Thuc” style, set to the music “Vu Khuc Tam Thanh” and performed at a single venue by 1,111 tea maidens.
One of the most striking moments ahead of the opening of the International Tea Festival WORLD T.E.A FEST 2025 was the tea brewing and offering performance by 1,111 tea maidens on the morning of 30 November 2025 at Thuy Ngoc Tea Plantation, Bao Loc (Lam Dong).

The performance is steeped in national musical character, with successive layers of music that tell a story and delicately evoke each step of tea brewing.
The music mainly features traditional instruments such as the zither (dan tranh), bamboo flute, monochord (dan bau) and two-stringed fiddle (dan nhi), creating an ethereal atmosphere rich in Vietnamese character. The musical structure recreates a young woman's entire tea-brewing journey – from preparation to the moment she raises the cup in offering – expressing the care, refinement and deep affection the Vietnamese people hold for tea culture.

The presence of the beauty queens made the opening atmosphere more dazzling than ever, highlighted by a Carnival performance by 88 Miss Cosmo contestants in costumes inspired by the culture of each country, creating a multicolored, multicultural tableau in the heart of Da Lat. Performances of national costumes, stage arts, synchronized tea brewing and cultural exchanges turned WORLD T.E.A FEST 2025 into a stage where beauty, tradition and the spirit of global connection converge over a cup of Vietnamese tea.

4. HONORING THE VIETNAM RECORD CONTENT: The 1927 Tea Factory in Bao Loc, Lam Dong province – one of the oldest surviving tea processing factories in Vietnam. After nearly a century, although it has ceased operation, the factory's architecture, machinery and production process are still cherished and preserved in their original state by Lam Dong Tea Joint Stock Company – DOIDEP Brand. It is a special destination that marks the history of the formation and development of the traditional tea processing industry in Lam Dong province in particular and Vietnam's tea industry in general.

The Lam Dong 1927 Tea Factory was first conceived in 1927, and construction officially began in 1932; it is one of the 2 oldest factories built in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. The factory was owned by the French and built on what was then a wild tea area in B’lao District, Dong Nai Thuong Province (now Bao Loc City, Lam Dong Province). Bearing the hallmarks of French architecture and technology, the factory started with a capacity of only about 2 tonnes of fresh tea leaves per day but quickly grew into a center for processing and exporting black tea to Europe during the 1927–1945 period. At its peak, the factory produced 600–800 tonnes of finished tea per year and achieved many accomplishments in industrial production.

After nearly a century of operation, the factory has ceased production, but all of its machinery, architecture and production lines have been kept intact. This is what makes the 1927 Tea Factory an invaluable “living museum”, a witness to the formation and development of B’Lao tea in particular and Vietnamese tea in general.

Since being transferred to Lam Dong Tea Joint Stock Company – DOIDEP Brand, the factory has been developed into a heritage tourism destination, open to visitors who want to explore Vietnamese tea culture. Besides admiring machinery nearly 100 years old, each visitor can also feel the quiet pride of generations of workers in the land of B’Lao, where tea has become part of its very soul.

Some of the highlight activities at the old 1927 Tea Factory as part of the International Tea Festival – WORLD T.E.A FEST 2025.
Today, the 1927 Tea Factory is no longer the ‘production soldier’ it once was, but it has taken on a new role: a witness to history and a bridge of memory, continuing to tell the story of the era when the tea processing industry first began. Here, every old machine, every moss-covered brick wall and every lingering scent of tea in the air recalls the persistent efforts of generations of B’Lao workers. The factory is not only a destination for visitors to learn about Vietnamese tea culture, but also a place that sows pride, education and inspiration for future generations, so that heritage values – from processing techniques to the culture of tea enjoyment – are always preserved and carried forward.”

The 4 Vietnam Records recognized at the International Tea Festival – World T.E.A Fest 2025 are not only a testament to distinctive achievements in the cultural, artistic, tourism and economic fields of Vietnam's tea industry, but also a journey connecting the past, present and future. From the grand series of international festival activities, the impressive synchronized tea-brewing performance by 1,111 tea maidens and the dazzling presence of 88 beauty queens and international beauty representatives, to the complete preservation of the 1927 Tea Factory heritage, each Record is like a bridge reaching far and wide, carrying the soul of Vietnam – the soul of its tea – to friends across the five continents. These are also important milestones for Lam Dong Tea Joint Stock Company – DOIDEP Brand and the Vietnamese tea industry, as well as an endless source of inspiration that spreads Vietnamese cultural values and creative spirit to the world, opening a new chapter in the story of Vietnamese tea, where every cup of tea is a symphony of history and art.
The International Tea Festival – WORLD T.E.A FEST 2025 marked an important turning point in efforts to promote Vietnamese tea culture and bring the tea industry to the world. The festival promises to be a key cultural, tourism and economic event of the year, spreading the message “Vietnamese Tea – Vietnamese Soul” to the world.
