The Tea Culture ceremony – an offering of incense and tea to the Hung Kings, the nation's founding ancestors – will open the series of special activities of the International Tea Festival 2025.

On the morning of 5 December, the Tea Culture ceremony will be held at Tea Resort Prenn, with an offering of incense and tea to the Hung Kings, the nation's founding ancestors, as a tribute to the nation's roots. Notably, as many raw-material regions are striving to recover after storms and floods, the ceremony is like a prayer for favorable weather and a swift revival of the harvest, giving farmers renewed confidence to stand firm through this difficult period.

Right after the ceremony, residents and visitors will explore spaces dedicated to Vietnamese and international tea culture through modern projection systems, art displays and product exhibitions from many domestic and international brands at Tea Gallery and Tea Expo (Lam Vien Square, Da Lat).

Here, visitors can also admire and learn about 1000 ancient tea trees from renowned tea regions around the world, a recreated tea hill, an exhibition of tea ware and archival photographs, and an international tea-tasting area.

Connecting trade and promoting the development of Vietnamese tea brands

Alongside its distinctive cultural activities, the International Tea Festival 2025 is an important bridge helping Vietnam's tea industry develop sustainably both at home and on international markets. The event gives businesses opportunities to improve product quality, connect for cooperation and expand their markets, while supporting farmers in sustainable cultivation and ensuring stable outlets for Vietnamese tea products.

These important topics lay the foundation for Vietnam's tea industry to develop steadily and become more competitive on international markets.

On the final day, 7 December, the series of activities continues with hands-on experiences. Tea Travel takes visitors to the tea-growing areas and the nearly 100-year-old 1927 Old Tea Factory, giving them a deeper understanding of the culture and tea production process in the land of B’Lao – Bao Loc. Meanwhile, Tea Talk at Da Lat University inspires students and young people about green entrepreneurship.

The International Tea Festival 2025 is the largest event ever held in the tea industry, organized by the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee in coordination with Nam A Bank, the Doi Dep brand, Lam Dong Tea Joint Stock Company and the Miss Cosmo Organization.
